Sniper Elite 3 heeft 10GB patch
Sniper Elite 3 komt hier pas vrijdag uit, maar Xbox One-gebruikers moeten rekening houden met een patch van tien gigabyte. Naast meerdere verbeteringen maakt de patch het spel, gek genoeg, kleiner. De andere platforms krijgen ook een patch, maar deze zal veel kleiner zijn.
De officiële verklaring luidt, “The main part of the update is to sync data between the game's retail discs and the Xbox Live digital download edition of the game. In the several weeks between sending the code off to manufacture and release, rather than sit around or take a break, we've continued to work on the game, making improvements and optimisations. (...) We've also begun work on multiplayer DLC and a small part of this update is to introduce a compatibility pack.”
Opvallend is dat Sniper Elite 3 in zijn geheel 21GB is. De patch maakt het spel uiteindelijk 19GB op de harde schijf. Sniper Elite 3 verschijnt 27 juni voor Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 en pc. In Noord-Amerika is het spel al uit. Er zijn dus al walkthroughs te zien op YouTube.
