The Witcher 3 heeft geen exclusieve content

The Witcher 3 zal geen exclusieve content hebben op een bepaald platform, zo laat CD Projekt Red weten. Vorig jaar was de game nog prominent in beeld bij de E3-presentatie van Microsoft. "We are treating all gamers equally," stelt Marcus Iwinski, mede-oprichter van de Poolse ontwikkelaar.

"We'll not deliver exclusive content to any of the platforms, nor will we artificially delay release of the game on any of the platforms because somebody's paying us money for that. It's definitely against our values. We are not doing that. What we are doing in terms of marketing cooperation, you'll see that at E3," aldus Marcin Iwinski.

Over een aantal weken op E3 zal er waarschijnlijk nieuws zijn over een 'online connectivity', al gaat het niet om een multiplayer modus. "We will be talking about it when the time comes. It's too early right now."

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt komt in februari 2015 uit voor pc, PlayStation 4 en Xbox One.
