Elder Scrolls krijgt forum in plaats van auction house
The Elder Scrolls Online heeft geen auction house, omdat het ontwikkelingsteam liever 'guild stores' zag. Fans zijn het hier blijkbaar toch niet helemaal mee eens, want zij hebben hun eigen 'auction house' gemaakt door middel van een forum.
Op zich is zo'n forum niet iets wat nog nooit eerder gedaan is, maar het is wel opvallend dat de ontwikkelaar van ESO, ZeniMax, er zelf naar linkt. "Looking to buy, sell, and trade in-game goods and services in #ESO? Then @TesoElite's new marketplace is for you," zo tweette de studio.
Eerder zei ZeniMax dat ze bewust geen auction house in het spel gestopt hebben: "You don't necessarily want to do a global auction house for a game with one giant server because that generally leads to all the best gear being available at very, very cheap prices. A lot of times that can trivialize the game. You cannot have a healthy economy when there are no restrictions on getting the best stuff in the game."
The Elder Scrolls Online is vanaf 4 april beschikbaar voor pc, vanaf juni komt de game uit voor PlayStation 4 en Xbox One.
