Miyamoto's nieuwe projecten 'onmogelijk op smartphone'
Alhoewel het eerder verschenen interview over Miyamoto's eventuele stapje terug niet heel accuraat vertaald is, klopt er in elk geval één ding: de gevierde ontwerper gaat weer spelletjes maken die 'onmogelijk' op een smartphone passen.
“Nothing has changed, and nothing will be changed in the near future as to my role inside of the company”, zegt Miyamoto. “Until the time that we are ready to commercialise, it’s not something we can disclose.”
Toch geeft de Miyamoto nog een stiekeme hint. “What we really have to do is try to be different. We are trying to create something that can never be reproduced on the smart phone.” Nintendo is zich dus in elk geval bewust van het gevaar van de smartphone op de handheldmarkt.
