Sega heeft vandaag aangekondigd dat de bekende acteurs Don Cheadle en Samuel L. Jackson in Iron Man 2: The Video Game een stem zullen inspreken. In navolging van de film verzorgt Cheadle de stem van Tony Starks goede vriend James "Rhodey" Rhodes, terwijl Jackson in de huid kruipt van S.H.I.E.L.D.-directeur Nick Fury.
"Met Iron Man 2: The Video Game wilden we ervoor zorgen dat spelers het universum van Iron Man zo direct mogelijk konden ervaren", aldus Gary Knight, Directeur Marketing van Sega Europe. "Don Cheadle en Samuel L. Jackson zijn allebei toonaangevende Hollywoodacteurs. Omdat zij degenen zijn die de personages in de binnenkort te verschijnen film van stemmen voorzien, kunnen de spelers van de videogame echt volledig opgaan in de wereld van Tony Stark."
Iron Man 2: The Video Game zit boordevol elementen uit de film en de strip. Je kunt kiezen uit Iron Man of War Machine terwijl je je vechtend een weg moet te zien te banen door enorme verwoestbare binnen- en buitenomgevingen. Tony en Rhodey beschikken allebei over hun eigen unieke arsenaal met volledig configureerbare, allesverwoestende wapens en gemene gevechtstechnieken, die allemaal van pas komen tegen figuren als Crimson Dynamo en andere klassieke Marvel-schurken.
Iron Man 2: The Video Game is vanaf april 2010 verkrijgbaar voor Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PSP, Wii en Nintendo DS.
